Tarun Mandhania

I was born and raised in Hyderabad, India and completed my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University (CBIT). I moved to the US in 1991, where I did my Masters in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University in SF Bay Area. Then I moved to New Jersey, where I have been since the mid-90s.

I have been working in the FinTech industry for 25+ years. My hobbies include staying active outdoors while kayaking, hiking, biking and swimming. I am married to Surekha Jhawar, who is also from Hyderabad. We reside in West Windsor, NJ, and have two daughters. My older daughter Avni works as a Marketing Analyst at The Estée Lauder Companies and my younger daughter Anika is a senior at the Rutgers Business School - New Brunswick.  

I enjoy staying engaged with our Indian community and was actively involved in the HindiUSA organization for 10 years. I have been associated with MMNA for over 25 years, have served on the local MMNA chapter committee, and have been the chapter President for the past 3 years. I am very excited for this years convention!
