Ensure that your submission adheres to the guidelines provided.
1. Eligibility
The competition is open to all MMNA members, including individuals and teams.
Participants must be at least 18 years old.
Business ideas need to be new or inception state, existing businesses that have launched in the market are not eligible.
2. Registration
Participants must register online through the official registration form by the specified deadline.
Only one submission per individual or team is allowed.
Teams must designate a team leader who will be the main point of contact.
3. Submission Requirements
All submissions must be original ideas and the sole property of the participants.
Submissions must follow the provided template and include all required sections.
Ideas must not infringe on any intellectual property rights or contain any content that is unlawful, harmful, or otherwise objectionable.
4. Judging Criteria
Submissions will be evaluated based feasibility, market potential, scalability, and team capability.
The judging panel’s decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
5. Confidentiality and Intellectual Property
Participants retain ownership of their ideas
The organizers will take reasonable steps to ensure confidentiality but cannot guarantee complete protection of intellectual property. Although it is participants responsibility to decide what to share in the presentation and with wider audience.
Note: participants will sign a waiver that MMNA or BET team is not responsible for the exposure of ideas and information.
6. Awards and Funding
Cash awards will be awarded only to business entries that are judged to be executable, if no entries are judged to be executable no cash awards will be awarded.
Winning ideas will receive $$$ each to support the development of their business.
7. Disqualification
The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant or team that violates these terms and conditions or engages in unethical behavior.
Disqualification may result in forfeiture of any awards or funds.
8. Liability
Participants agree to release the organizers from any liability related to the competition.
9. Amendments
The organizers reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
Any changes will be communicated to participants in a timely manner.
