Anita Ajmera

I am from Jaipur and have been living in NY for 33 years. I am the creator and owner of Madhuram Sweets, an Indian dessert company that has been based in NY since 2001.  

I have been involved with MMNA since the beginning and have been actively working as part of the NEC since 2006. I was honored to be the first Sakhi chair, followed by Joint Secretary, Secretary, and Vice President. We had organized the first Sakhi Convention in 2006. I have been active in the MMNA Matrimonial Committee since its inception. I am also part of the Pro Net BET. I have attended 8 conventions so far.

I am married to Deepak Ajmera who is also from Jaipur. I have 3 children and 2 grandsons. Vidisha is married to Avi Jain in Houston. Rishi (29) and Nandini (25) both live in NY.
